Ankita Lokhande reveals when Sushant Singh Rajput’s dance partner got close to him

Pavitra Rishta fame actress Ankita Lokhande has been creating waves in the Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss 17. Fans are appreciating her game plan in the show even as her husband Vicky Jain has failed to make a mark.

Time and again, the actress shares fond memories of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Recently, she shared about an incident of how she was jealous and became possessive when Sushant Singh Rajput’s dance partner got too close to him.

The incident occurred while the former couple had participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Ankita was paired with Nishant while Sushant was paired with Shampa. Both of them were in a relationship at that time. Ankita reached the top five while Sushant was in the top 2.

She further revealed that she was jealous when Sushant’s partner Shampa jumped on him during the practice sessions. She was so angry that she even asked him (jokingly) to not win the show. It was during the show, Sushant proposed marriage to Ankita in front of the show judges and guest actress Priyanka Chopra.

For the unversed, both Ankita and Sushant worked together for the first time in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Pavitra Rishta’. Slowly their friendship blossomed into love and the two were in a live-in relationship until Sushant moved into movies.

However, they had been good friends even after their break-up. Ankita has always talked highly of Sushant even after his demise and stood by his parents after his death.
