The ever-smiling and handsome actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s superhit debut movie ‘Kai Po Che’ completed 10 years of its release today.

Sushant who made his big debut with the movie went on to carve a niche for himself with his amazing performances in Kedarnath, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and Chhichhore.

Fans remembered the late actor and paid tributes on Twitter as his movie completed 10 years. Fellow actor Amit Sadh, who played the role of Sushant’s best friend in the movie also became emotional, and admitted that he has bittersweet memories of losing his co-star Sushant Singh Rajput.

Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the movie was an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s 2008 novel ‘The 3 Mistakes of My Life’ and revolved around three friends. The film also revolves around the 2001 Gujarat earthquake, the 2002 Godhra train burning and the Gujarat Riots.

Released worldwide on February 22, 2013, the film met with acclaim from Indian reviewers, with praise for Sushant’s performances. The film was a critical as well as commercial success and Sushant was nominated for Best Male Debut.

“If he was alive, Sushant Singh Rajput would’ve completed 10 years in Bollywood today. He left the world too soon leaving a never to be filled void inside us. The movies he did and the impactful characters he played will always be cherished,” shared a fan on Twitter.

Another user wrote, “It’s 10 years of Kai Po Che and we’re missing Sushant Singh Rajput more than ever today! It was his debut film in Bollywood.”

“Happy 10 years to one of the most timeless masterpieces our world has been blessed with! Merely attempting to articulate its unparalleled beauty leaves me at a loss of words. Kai Po Che was not a film, it was an emotion we all felt, a journey we all embarked upon,” commented another user.
