Supermodel and actress Aditi Govitrikar recently opened up on her shocking casting couch experience and revealed how she was removed from a film for refusing to sleep with a producer.

Describing the incident, she said, “I had been to South Africa for the shoot of a particular film. There was this person who was making inappropriate advances, but I didn’t quite grasp in his intention. So, I simply chuckled, laughed right on his face.”

“I just walked away saying ‘Are you crazy, or are you stupid?”. My words had bruised his ego. The next day, my team and I were asked to wrap up and sent back to Mumbai. Mujhe samjha bhi nahi ye kya hua,” she added.

“Fir mujhe meeting ke liye bulaya kyunki hum logon ne teen-chaar din ka shoot kiya tha. Toh unhone kuch to faltu excuse dia ki aisa hai, waisa hai. To maine bola theek hai ab. Tabhi mujhko samajh main aya ki kuch to hua hai, maine mana kia isliye mujhe nikala diya gaya film se,” she further added.

Similarly, superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa’ actress Suchitra Krishnamoorthi opened up on her horrific experience and said, “We were meeting in a hotel and in those days, a lot of meetings happened in hotels. It was quite common those days. A filmmaker-producer had called me for a meeting. After a brief meeting, he asked me to call my father and tell him that I would not return home that night.”

“He was so shameless that he even said that he would drop me back home the next morning,” she added.

“I was almost on the verge of tears, so I picked up all my stuff and I said I’m just coming and ran away from the hotel,” she added.
