GAT B, BET 2023: NTA invites online applications, check exam date and fees

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has invited online applications for Graduate Aptitude Test- Biotechnology (GAT-B) / Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) – 2023.

It is pertinent to mention here that the GAT-B and BET is a National level entrance examination for admission to the Department of Biotechnology supported Post Graduate Programme in Biotechnology and allied areas in participating Institutions (GAT-B) and for the award of DBT – Junior Research Fellowship (DBT-JRF) for pursuing research in frontier areas of Biotechnology (BET).

Duration of Online registration and submission of online application form for GAT-B/BET-2023: 10 March 2023 to 31 March 2023

Correction in the particulars of the application form online only: 03 April 2023 to 04 April 2023

Date of Examination for GAT-B/BET-2023: 23 April 2023 (Sunday)

Duration of Examination: 180 minutes (03 hours)

Mode of Examination: Computer Based Test (CBT) mode

Medium of Question Paper: English

Fee payable for GAT-B/BET – 2023 GAT-B: Rs 1200 for General (UR)/ OBC-(NCL)/ EWS and Rs 600 for SC/ST/PwD

BET: 1200 for General (UR)/ OBC-(NCL)/ EWS and Rs 600 for SC/ST/PwD

GAT-B & BET (Both): 2400 for General (UR)/ OBC-(NCL)/ EWS and Rs 1200 for SC/ST/PwD

Instructions

Candidates can apply for GAT-B/BET 2023 or both through “Online” mode only. The application form in any other mode will not be accepted. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. Multiple application forms submitted by a candidate will not be accepted under any circumstances, the NTA notice read.
