According to a DNA report, Pujya pursued her post-graduation in Public Administration from Columbia University in New York after completing her graduation in Commerce in Delhi. Balancing her studies with two years of work experience, she continued her UPSC preparations.

The saga of her UPSC attempts began in 2013, facing initial failure. Undeterred, she took a three-year hiatus, and then returned in 2016 to reach the interview round but fell short. 

Despite a close call in the 2017 pre-exam, she contemplated ending her UPSC journey. It was the unwavering support of her family that reignited her determination for another attempt.

Pujya's dedication bore fruit as she clinched success in 2018 by securing All India Rank 11. Her story becomes a beacon of hope for aspiring candidates facing setbacks.
