Muzaffarnagar: A Dalit woman was found murdered in the district, police said on Thursday. The woman had gone missing on Tuesday after she went to collect grass from the jungle.

Police suspect that the woman was raped before being murdered yesterday.

In another incident, a Dalit man was shot dead and his son injured by four persons after he refused to sell them liquor in Rehkara in the district.

60-year-old Ramkumar was shot dead last evening, police said, adding a case was registered against four people in this connection.
