Nashik: A crocodile has been found in a well in Ravalgaon village in the district, and forest officials are scratching their heads as to how to bring it out.

The reptile was spotted in the well in the field of Rajendra Vadkte three days ago, forest officials said. Officials, who have been camping on the spot since yesterday, are clueless as to how the crocodile ended up in the well.

Forest officer Shantaram Aher said that the water is being pumped out of the well so that it becomes visible. The reptile appears to be over five feet long, he said.
