Couple charred to death in Bolangir

The couple in their early fifties has been identified as Bhubaneswar Meher (husband) and Belmati Meher (wife), were killed while they were asleep on late Monday night

According to reports, the house where the couple lived was set on fire due to previous enmity, which seemingly originated from disputes over land.

The Police reached the spot and began its investigation. “A scientific team from Bolangir is expected to come and begin its investigation,” the police said.
