"The party will not give tickets to those who have no base in their respective areas," he said, addressing Youth Congress workers.

Gandhi, who is on a two-day visit to Bundelkhand region, urged the youth to participate in politics, saying they could change the political scenario with their enthusiasm.

During the hour-long interaction with the youth, he asked them to reach out to the grassroot level and propagate welfare schemes of the UPA government by making people aware of them.
