Anand Kumar to address Wiki Conference

Wikipedia founder and head Jimmy Wales will also speak at the conference, Anand told PTI. Kumar will speak about the ways in which Wikipedia could become more effective, especially to poor students .

Vishal Mahajan, a member of the organising committee, said that Anand was chosen as he was not only a Wikipedia user, but also imparting free education to poor students through his `Super 30` initiative.

Anand and Wikipedia both have similar objectives. Just as Wikipedia believes in free dissemination of information, Anand provides free coaching to students from poor families, Mahajan said.
