'Delhi Chalo' protest by farmers suspended till Friday

Farmers have been protesting at the Punjab-Haryana borders for the past few days to press the Centre into accepting their demands on minimum support price (MSP) for crops and other issues.

As farmers plan to continue ‘Delhi Chalo’ march again, security was heightened at the Singhu border. Rapid Action Force and police personnel were seen with security gears to stop the farmers from entering national capital. Drone surveillance is being done on the location to keep an eye on the protesting farmers.
