Ranchi: Former Commonwealth Games Organizing Committee head Suresh Kalmadi, whose two close aides were arrested in connection with alleged corruption in a Games-related project, today said the law will take its own course.

Asked to react to the arrest of former OC Secretary General Lalit Bhanot and OC`s ex-Director General V K Verma by CBI, Kalmadi said "we will see what happens. The law will take its own course".

Asked after the arrest of Bhanot and Verma, he could also be apprehended, Kalmadi said "I`m here to attend the closing ceremony of the National Games for which 10,000 people have come".

Bhanot and Verma were today arrested in connection with alleged irregularities in the Rs 107 crore deal inked with a Swiss timing firm.
