Aizawl: Mizoram Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla has been appointed member of the Standing Committee of the Inter-state Council by the Union Home Ministry, an official statement said here today.
The statement said that the Standing Committee of the Inter-state Council has 15 members, out of which nine members were state chief ministers and six union ministers, including the union finance minister.
