Kota (Rajasthan): Nineteen wagons of a goods train derailed between Shrimahiveerji and Hindon railway track today disrupting traffic on Mumbai-Delhi route.

The train was carrying fertilizers from Bhanwara to Muktsar when it jumped the tracks in the afternoon, DRM, Kota Division A K Saxena said.

There was no casualty or injury to anyone due to the accident, he said.

However, traffic on the section is still blocked and is likely to be restored by 10 am tomorrow as clearing of the tracks has not been smooth due to darkness, he said, adding the reason for the derailment is being investigated.
