Amritsar: Fake Indian currency notes having a face value of Rs 1.98 lakh was seized by BSF personnel from Jhugian Noor Mohamad village near the Indo-Pak border. During a patrol near the border at Khemkaran sector last night, BSF personnel noticed some movement at the Pakistani side, a paramilitary official said.

When confronted by the jawans, the intruders fled leaving a bag behind. Fake currency notes, one pistol, 20 live cartridges and three magazines were found inside the bag, he said.
