Mumbai: Tamil actor-singer Dhanush, who is making his debut in Bollywood with 'Ranjhana', says he would love to do more films here.

Dhanush is a film actor, playback singer, lyricist and producer mainly in Tamil cinema.

He is making his acting debut in Hindi film with 'Ranjhana', a love story.

"I would choose a film on the basis of its priority. I will see if it excites and challenges me to do something different. I am waiting for this film to release. But somewhere, I have decided I would do one Tamil and one Hindi film," Dhanush told reporters here at the promotional event of 'Ranjhana'.

It was the script that made Dhanush choose 'Ranjhana' as his debut film here.

"I did not see this film as Tamil, Hindi or Telugu. I did it because I liked it," he said.

Director Anand L Rai said he cast Dhanush as he was suitable for the role of an innocent boy and that there was no one who could fit the bill.

A shift to Hindi was a challenge for Dhanush. "I was not that much comfortable with the language...it was kind of tough. It was not easy for me to do it but things fell into place and it all happened," the actor said.
