Painter H N Suresh appointed as BVB Director

Bangalore: A well-known painter and theatre artist H N Suresh was appointed as the Director of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bangalore Kendra, succeeding the late Mathoor Krishnamoorti. Sixty-one-year-old Suresh joined the local chapter of the Bhavans as Director (Programmes & Projects) in June 1996.

Bangalore: A well-known painter and theatre artist H N Suresh was appointed as the Director of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bangalore Kendra, succeeding the late Mathoor Krishnamoorti.

Sixty-one-year-old Suresh joined the local chapter of the Bhavans as Director (Programmes & Projects) in June 1996. Since then he has been connected with Bhavans in all activities including the formation of other Kendra in Karnataka as a close associate of the late Krishnamoorti.

He took charge as Director Sunday, a Bhavan`s release said today. Suresh has held several positions including news editor of Bhavan`s Bangalore Kendra a member of Bhavan`s Mysore, Madikeri, Belgaum, and Dharwad Kendras.
