The Khatron Ke Khiladi Made in India 15 August special will feature the famous warrior Aaji from Pune. Meet The Famous Warrior Aaji aka Shantabai Pawar

The 85-year-old Aaji first attracted a lot of attention on social media last month. A post showing the Aaji using lathi in all the directions skillfully went viral on Twitter. Her skills also impressed Bollywood star, Riteish Deshmukh. He even asked his followers to come up with complete details of the Aaji to get in touch with her.

Riteish urged his followers, "Help me connect with her." Immediately celebrity photographer and Bollywood producer Atul Kasbekar tweeted, "Rits Pls tell me when you do connect. She’s amazing."

And then on the Aaji started becoming famous on Twitter and in the celebrity circle. Fortunately, a few people noticed the problem Aaji is facing and helped her immediately. They also shared her phone number with Riteish so that he can also help her. A social organization Nirmiti took the responsibility of the grandma and also of educating her granddaughters.

Maharashtra HM Anil Deshmukh Honored Aaji With Nawari Saree

Apart from Nirmiti and social media users, the Home Minister of Maharashtra Anil Deshmukh also came forward to honor and help Shantabai Pawar. Deshmukh in his tweet wrote, "I had the privilege to meet 85yrs old Shatabai Pawar, the #WarriorAaji from #Pune, at her home. I heard from many people about the way she has been exercising for her livelihood. Felt inspired & refreshed upon meeting her  & gifted her Nawari Saree, Rs. 1 lakh on Party's behalf."
