Tiger Shroff has been having a really good run in Bollywood since he debuted with Kriti Sanon in “Heropanti.” But very few people know that the son of Jackie Shroff got this role without going through an audition. According to the budding actor, he was selected by Sajid Nadiadwala, the producer of the movie especially for his ‘unconventional looks.’

Now, it is quite a revelation because most of the stars despite their filmy background have to audition for a role. From Alia Bhatt to Sara Ali Khan everyone underwent the same grueling regime before getting the big break.

So indeed, Tiger Shroff was quite lucky to have been picked up without an audition. As Tiger said, "Had there been one [audition], I wouldn’t have got it anyway."

Tiger Has Proved Himself Over The Years

Even though he got a break in the movies without any audition, over the years since he debuted, the actor has proven his mettle. Tiger Shroff stated that he never wanted to be an actor and was instead interested in becoming a footballer. But when Sajid saw a photograph of Jaggu Dada’s son in newspaper he approached him for the film.

According to the “Baaghi” star, it was Sajid Nadiadwala who molded him into a movie star and also guided him regarding which actors to look up to and which kind of films to select.  The rumored boyfriend of Disha Patani also opened up about his childhood days when his family faced a lot of financial problems due to the failure of “Boom” a home production starring Amitabh Bachchan, Jackie, Gulshan Grover, and Katrina Kaif.

At that time, the “Student of the year 2” actor was just 11 years old and saw how his family sold their house and furniture to cover up for the losses. Although the recent release of Tiger with Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday did not do well as expected his upcoming two movies, “Baaghi 3” to be directed by Ahmed Khan and “War” from YRF co-starring Hrithik Roshan are expected to make his position strong in Bollywood.
