Tata Power bags CCQC 2011 awards

In a statement , the company today said it was awarded for their excellent problem-solving capabilities and contribution towards the quality initiatives at Jojobera thermal power station here. Team Achievers (MMD) and Team Prerna (CHP) were bestowed with Gold award whereas team Black Diamond was honoured with Silver.

This year the prominent participants at the CCQC included Durgapur Steel Plant, NTPC Singhrouli, Bokaro Steel Plant, BSP BHILAI, Hindalco, Nalco, Tata Project, Tata Steel, Exide, SAIL, Videocon and Tinplate. CCQC not only provided a platform to the teams to showcase their ability to deal with problems by using Quality control tools but also grants an opportunity to be a part of many fun filled activities namely knowledge test, poster making, essay contests, the statement said.
