Rupee depreciates by 12 paise

Mumbai: The rupee depreciated by 12 paise to Rs 45.65 against the dollar in early trade today, tracking weakness in other Asian currencies. Dealers said dollar gains against other Asian currencies put pressure on the rupee. The rupee had ended 8 paise lower at Rs 45.53/54 against the dollar yesterday.

Dealers said dollar gains against other Asian currencies put pressure on the rupee.

The rupee had ended 8 paise lower at Rs 45.53/54 against the dollar yesterday.
