Bhubaneswar: The JEE Advanced 2015 exam was held today in which around 3,403 students from the State have appeared. Total 1.5 lakh students from across the country have written the test.

According to reports, the exam was held in two sittings – first sitting started at 9 am and concluded at 12 pm and second sitting was going on from 2 pm to 5 pm.

The exam, which is a must for candidates to be eligible for taking admissions into premier engineering institutes like 16 Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs) and Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad, will be held in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela - two centers in the State.

First 1.5 lakh rank holders in the JEE Main exam were eligible to sit for the JEE (Advanced) examinations.
