3 of inter-state truck looters' gang held in Balasore

Balasore: A three-member gang of inter-state truck looters was nabbed by Khantapada Police on Saturday.

During interrogation, the three arrested persons have accepted that they have looted more than 30 trucks in the State as well as outside, said Surendra Naik, IIC, Khantapada on Saturday.

The arrested persons were identified as Tutu Das of Balichandrapur, Purnachandra of Hatadihi in Keonjhar and Prakash Das of Patirajpur. The trio said they looted trucks in Jajpur, Marshaghai, Chandikhol and Balichandrapur.

Naik added interrogation of the three arrested persons is on. “We expect more information about truck loots during the questioning,” he stated.
