Chennai: DMK President M Karunanidhi on Thursday accused Jayalalithaa Government of letting loose anarchy by targeting opposition parties, especially his party workers, in filing criminal cases.

The government was bent on filing cases against DMK men and arresting them with a view to separating them from their families and make them suffer, he said in a statement here.

Apparently referring to the filing of a series of land grabbing cases against DMK functionaries and leaders, he said the government was targeting even the innocent in the guise of taking action under law.
