The Bhubaneswar centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in its latest forecast informed that a low pressure area is likely to form over South Andaman Sea by Nov 30. It is likely to move West North Westwards and concentrate into a depression over Southeast and adjoining East Central Bay of Bengal during subsequent 48 hours.
Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur Cuttack, Angul, Dhenkanal.
For the last four to five days, a relatively dip in the mercury in the mornings and nights is being recorded across the State with the day remaining hot. A slight increase in the day temperature has been recorded since Monday.
