Apurported photograph showing cash distribution during an election rally of BJD’s Lok Sabha candidate Pradeep Majhi in Nabarangpur went viral on Saturday. As per reports, a person was seen distributing wads of notes while electioneering was underway for the BJD leader. Meanwhile, the BJP has taken exception to this incident and apprised the Election Commission of India (ECI). The saffron party leaders expect the order of the ECI in a day or two and hope that the candidature of leaders involved in alleged foul activities will be cancelled.

Though the outgoing BJD government initiated the Location Accessible Multi-modal Initiative (LAccMI) scheme aimed at establishing a seamless public transport network from panchayats to the state capital, it has completely failed to serve its purpose.
