Central Team Arrives In Odisha To Review Covid-19 Management

A team of experts from the Centre arrived in Odisha today (July 5) to review the COVID19 situation in the state. Professor of the All India Institute of Hygiene & Public Health, Dr Shivani Dutta, who is a part of the Central team, arrived in Bhubaneswar today. She informed that after conducting preliminary discussions with State officials, the team will then head to inspect and evaluate the situation in the districts with high test positivity rate. She further stated that the team will evaluate where the cases are increasing, the type of management of the cases, surveillance and containment activities, district micro-plans; etc and later make recommendations accordingly for the affected regions.
