Centenarian Woman From Odisha Defeats Covid19

Fighting Covid19 infection is not an easy task, especially for someone of an advanced age. A centenarian woman in Odisha has beaten the virus! Yes, you heard that right! Sumati Nayak from Khandapada in Nayagarh district is over hundred years old and had contracted the deadly infection on May 5. However, she was admitted to Khandapada Covid Care Centre after her oxygen level dropped. The doctors and nurses at the Covid Care Centre were concerned about Sumati’s condition due to her age. But Sumati proved all their apprehensions wrong by successfully recovering. Sumati’s recovery from the infection is being credited to the continuous care and attention showered by the nurses on her, during her stay at the Covid care centre.
