Police on Tuesday busted a sex racket operating from a guest house in Berhampur. A team led by Berhampur SP raided the guest house and arrested 10 persons in this connection. They also rescued four sex workers from the guest house.

However, police denied the involment of the hotel staff. Preliminary probe the racket was run by a few youths of the area, the OYO room staff were not involved in the racket, police said.
The BJD lawmaker said he has been a victim of a conspiracy.
Somalika Dash, the girlfriend and wife-to-be of the Tirtol MLA, last month had lodged a complaint with police alleging that the lawmaker was operating sex racket to raise money for election expenses.
Demanding for an independent inquiry into the allegations, both the parties have condemned the conducts of Das terming them unexpected, specifically from a public representative.
While the identity of the arrested persons are yet to be revealed, the police said the other three accused include a customer, a pimp and a staff of the hotel.
