As per the latest forecast of the Bhubaneswar centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal (BoB) and adjoining North Andaman sea now lies over Southeast Bay of Bengal.
The average rainfall in the State in the past two days has been estimated at 156 mm while the average rainfall till date in September has been recorded at 154 mm, said the Odisha SRC.
The SRC has further instructed the Collectors that in case of any damage to communication/roads occur, the same be forthwith restored for effecting communication at the earliest.
