As per official notification of the OPSC released on November 1, 2022, the candidature of several candidates has been rejected due to malpractice and other reasons.
OPSC chairman Satyajit Mohanty said the government recruiting body strives to stick to the committed timeline and in all likelihood the written results should be published by the first week of November.
OPSC had earlier said that the Admission Certificate downloaded earlier from the OPSC website for the ASO written examination scheduled to be held on August 21 is also valid for the rescheduled ASO written examination on August 27

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced the schedule of the much-awaited Assistant Section Officer (ASO) examination which was earlier postponed due to the prevailing flood situation in the State.
Many candidates belonging to the flood-hit districts took to Twitter to air their grievances and urged the authorities to reschedule ASO examination scheduled on August 21.
The SSC CGL tier-3 examination and ASO examination are scheduled on August 21. Besides, RRB PO and Railway Group D examinations are scheduled on the same date.
The OSSC today announced that the SI traffic main examination has been rescheduled to September 9 and 10, 2022 due to some unavoidable circumstances.
Candidates who are going to appear for both the examinations want the authorities to advance or postpone the examinations to avoid the clash.
