The Group B post of Assistant Section Officer (ASO) in the Odisha Secretariat Service is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after jobs in the State. Hence, the anticipation surrounding the result of the ASO recruitment written examination is equally high. 

The written examination to fill up as many as 796 (265 women) ASO posts was conducted by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) on August 27, and the result is expected to be announced next month.

However, aspirants who took part in the recruitment examination are growing impatient with each passing days and want the OPSC to announce the exact date of publication of the result. 

An eager aspirant took to Twitter and asked OPSC chairman Satyajit Mohanty to inform about the date of the result. 

“Respected @satyajitips88 Sir, according to the #OPSC calendar, everyone knows that the final result of #ASO will come in November But when will the result of written test be published Sir I hope you'll reply to this tweet Your one answer will be of great help to all the Asspirent (sic),” wrote Ankit Kumar.

Replying to the tweet, the OPSC chief wrote, “OPSC strives to stick to the committed timeline. Since the results are to be published by end of Nov, in all likelihood the written results should be published by the first week of Nov.” 

 

 

“@satyajitips88 Respected Sir When will ASO exam publish? (sic),” wrote another aspirant.

“Please see the Recruitment Calendar in the OPSC website. Likely in November. Watch out for details on the Notice Portal,” replied the OPSC chief.
