The much-awaited written examination for the Assistant Section Officer (ASO) continues to hit hurdles with the schedule of the recruitment exam clashing with the upcoming SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL), on August 21.

As per sources, the SSC CGL tier-3 examination and ASO examination are scheduled on August 21. Besides, RRB PO and Railway Group D examinations are scheduled on the same date.

Worried aspirants who have applied for these examinations took to social media to express their concern and appealed the concerned authorities to reschedule the examinations.

“Sir,SSC CGLtier-3, RRB PO, Railway GroupD and OPSC ASO examinations are scheduled on the same date that is on 21st August 2022.Sir it's a request to reschedule the ASO examination so that we can take all the four examinations,” wrote an aspirant, Manoj Pani.

 

 

“#OPSC #ASO  Scheduled the exam on 21/08/22 And #SSC #CGL_tier3 also scheduled on 21/08/22. Both are equally important for the aspirants.  We can't omnipresent. Like everywhwre.  #RRB Scheduled their exam too from 17-25,” wrote another user, Anil Kumar Jena.

 

 

Tagging OPSC chairman Satyajit Mohanty, another aspirant Somanath Sahoo wrote, “Sir I've applied for Both OPSC ASO and RRC GROUP D.  Both exam date may clash  Pls Postpone ASO exam, atleast till next month.”

 

 

Earlier, the ASO examination date had clashed with the Main Written Examination for the post of Sub Inspector (Traffic)-2021. Later, following requests from aspirants, the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) rescheduled the examination to September 9 and 10, 2022.
