Holding banners, the members of Congress conducted ‘parikrama’ of the Odisha Assembly demanding Mishra’s ouster and High Court-monitored SIT probe into Mamita murder case.

Soon after the Assembly proceedings began today, both Opposition BJP and Congress rushed into the well of the House and gheraoed the podium of Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro demanding dismissal of Dibya Shankar Mishra.

The highest provision of Rs 3624 crore has been made for the Panchayati Raj and drinking water department, Rs 2310 crore for Health and Family Welfare department and Rs 2143 crore for Energy department.
