During the hearing Prasad, who is serving prison terms in multiple fodder scam cases, denied the charges levelled against him in the FIR.
Judge Munda imposed a fine of Rs 6,000, which was deposited on behalf of Prasad.
Ranchi High Court judge Apresh Kumar Singh granted the bail 42 weeks after Lalu's conviction in the Doranda case. The special CBI court had convicted the RJD chief on February 21 and awarded five years jail term. Since then, four hearings have taken place in the court for his bail.
A bench of Justices L. Nageswara Rao and B.R. Gavai issued notice in both matters.
Beside Lalu Prasad, the court had convicted 74 others, including former MP Jagadish Sharma, Public Accounts Committee president Dhruv Bhagat in the case while 24 were acquitted for want of evidence.
