The Minister said that in view of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Government had given certain relaxations to NGOs so that welfare programmes and Covid related relief works were not affected.

On September 29, the Ministry had extended validity of FCRA registration certificates of such NGOs whose validity was to expire on September 30 and applied for the renewal.
