At the emergency meeting convened by the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) today, clear instructions have been given to the District Collectors to remain alert in view of the possible cyclone which is to form over Bay of Bengal.

In the dummy message, it has been stated that ‘Sitrang’ is likely to cross north Odisha close to Dhamra today noon as a 'Very Severe Cyclonic Storm' with a maximum wind speed of 155 kmph.
