Amrit Pradhan, the youth from Odisha’s Berhampur who had been undergoing ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) treatment in Chennai for the last few months breathed his last on Tuesday night.

Doctors at the Chennai Apollo Hospitals breathed a new life into 24-year-old Odisha youth Amrit Pradhan who has been suffering from pneumonia and septicaemia in the lungs after testing positive for Covid-19 in June earlier this year.

Amrit Pradhan, is a name that has been headlining the media all over Odisha in the last few days. But he is not alone in the fight for his survival. Along with his family, friends, relatives, now entire Odisha has slowly started to lend a helping hand to save his life.
