Justice Chandrachud said: "If there are any tweets against law, he will be answerable. How can we pass any anticipatory order that someone will not speak?"
A bench headed by Justice D.Y. Chandrachud said: "There is no reason for deprivation of liberty of the petitioner...to be released on interim bail in each FIR (UP FIRs)...power of arrest should be used sparingly..."
Additional Sessions Judge Devender Kumar Jangala of Patiala House Courts granted bail to Zubair on the condition to furnish Rs 50,000 bond with one surety and not to leave the country without the permission of Court.
Zubair was produced before the court on the expiry of his one-day custodial interrogation.
A senior police official said that it was a separate case lodged against Zubair under sections 153-A and 295 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) in which he has been arrested.
