In an amusing news for cricket buffs across the globe, New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson acted like a Super Hero on the eve of the first T20I vs India.

Williamson was posing with Team India captain Hardik Pandya along with the trophy in Wellington when the wind almost knocked the trophy down. The wave was so hard that it almost toppled the silverware. However, an alert Williamson caught it just in time and stopped it from falling on the ground and breaking.

Hardik was surprised by such amazing reflexes of Williamson. The Kiwis' skipper jokingly wanted to run away with the trophy after catching it.

The New Zealand cricket board has shared the video clip on Twitter. The post has reportedly gone viral. It has garnered more than 10.9k likes so far. Some of the fans have also shared their hilarious comments.

“Table just missed the target," a fan commented.

“Only way New Zealand can win a world cup,” wrote another fan.

Notably, India with a young squad at their disposal will be looking forward to move past the disappointment of T20 World Cup debacle and perform well against the Kiwis at their own backyard.
