Justice C Nagappan sworn in as Chief Justice of Odisha HC

The post of Orissa high court Chief Justice was lying vacant since December when the then incumbent Justice V Gopala Gowda was elevated to the bench of the Supreme Court.

Senior judge of the High Court Justice Pradeep K.Mohanty was officiating as the acting Chief Justice of the State.

Born in October 1951, Justice Nagappan was appointed as an additional judge of Madras High Court in September 2000 and was continuing as a permanent judge there since September 2002.
