Bhubaneswar: A three member delegation of the Commission for Agricultural Cost and Prices under the Union Ministry of Agriculture today reached the state to take stock of the khariff crops in the state. The team headed by its advisor Anjan Kumar Jena would cover several areas to make on the spot study of khariff crops in the state.

The team would directly interact with the farmers to learn about their problems. The team would meet higher officials of the state government before winding up its visit. The report of the team would be crucial in deciding the support prices of khariff products.
