Puri: Foreigner Woman Alleges Misbehaviour By Cops, SP Orders Probe

Puri: A foreigner woman was allegedly misbehaved by policemen in Puri on Sunday.

As per the allegations, the Khumbharpada Police had detained the woman's husband for not wearing mask properly. When the lady went to the police station to inquire about the matter, some cops allegedly misbehaved with her.

The woman later lodged a complaint following which Puri SP has ordered probe into the matter.

"A probe has been ordered based on the lady's complaint. Stern action will be taken against those found guilty," said the SP.
