Bhubaneswar: In a bid to curb increasing cyber crimes in the State, Odisha Police will set up three new cyber crimes police stations, DGP KB Singh said on Monday.

Addressing newsmen at a workshop on ‘Evolving Strategies for Prevention of Cyber Fraud’ here, Singh said the police stations will be set up at Rourkela, Berhampur and Bhubaneswar.

At present, only one Cyber Cell is operating at Cuttack.

The workshop was attended by experts from Kolkata, Bengaluru and New Delhi. Besides officials of Crime Branch, Economic Offence Wing (EOW), different banks and police officials too took part in the programme.
