Bhubaneswar: Interrogation of arrested businessman Shubhankar Nayak continued for second day on Thursday in connection with Seashore chit fund scam.
Nayak, who was arrested by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) sleuths on November 18 after a six-hour raid on an apartment in Kharavela Nagar in the capital city, is at present in the agency’s custody for nine days.
Sources said the CBI is expecting to get vital information during quizzing of Nayak as he is believed to be a conduit between Seashore and government officials.
Meanwhile, the central investigating agency submitted some documents seized during the raid in a closed envelope to Special CJM Court.
