Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 recoveries count in Odisha climbed to 246837 on Sunday after 2610 patients recuperated in the last 24 hours.

According to the information shared by the Odisha Health Department, highest 438 patients cured of the disease from Khordha, 204 from Cuttack, 171 from Sundergarh, 148 from Angul, 119 from Jajpur, 113 from Balasore, 109 from Sambalpur, 99 from Mayurbhanj, 95 from Bolangir, 91 from Nabarangpur, 83 from Bargarh, 78 from Jagatsinghpur and 69 from Bhadrak.

Similarly, 68 each recovered from jharsuguda and Kendrapara, 61 each from Keonjhar and Nuapada, 54 from Puri, 53 from Sonepur, 52 from Kalahandi, 50 from Koraput, 45 from Kandhamal, 41 from Nayagarh, 34 from Ganjam, 30 from Dhenkanal, 28 from Malkangiri, 18 from Boudh, 13 from Deogarh, 12 each from Gajapati and Rayagada and 93 from state pool.

Earlier in the day, Odisha registered 2019 new infections in the last 24 hours, 177 lesser than the figures registered on Saturday and lowest in over a month and half.
