Eviction drive begins in Cuttack

Cuttack: Amid heavy security bandobast, Cuttack district administration on Wednesday began a drive to demolish unauthorised religious structures on government land near Phulanakhara here on Wednesday.

Sources said around 12 religious structures have been identified to be demolished from Phulanakhra to Pirbazar and all of them situated along the NH-5.

Moreover, the administration is well prepared requisitioning five platoons of force. Additional DCP and Sub-collector were present at the spot and monitored the eviction drive.
