Earlier on June 23, the PMO had sent a letter to the Chief Secretary of the State and directed to keep the female OAS officer updated about details of the developments in the case and upload a copy of the same on its website.

IAS Premananda Khuntia, the accused, has refused to talk in front of OTV stating that the case is sub judice. It is worth mentioning that the IAS officer has filed a defamation suit of Rs 1 crore against the woman.
