Balasore: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday visited Balasore and unveiled various developmental projects in the district.

According to reports, Naveen first visited Simulia and inaugurated a newly built road which has been constructed at an expenditure of Rs 1.78 crore. Later, the chief minister addressed a public meeting.

Later in the day, Patnaik visited Bahanaga, Remuna and Balasore and inaugurated various developmental projects.

Police had detained as many as 60 various political parties ahead of the chief minister’s visit to the district today.
