Normal life in different parts of Odisha has gone for a toss following intense hot and humid conditions that have been prevailing for the past few days. Jharsuguda district sizzled at 42.2 degree Celsius by 11:30 am on Friday.
The maximum temperature also touched 42 degrees in Sambalpur district followed by Hirakud (40.4) during the same time. Rourkela recorded a maximum temperature of 35 degrees by 11:30 am today.
